Lawson’s Dry Hills 2020 Sauvignon Blanc is a vegan-friendly SB produced from sustainably-grown grapes sourced from a certified sustainable vineyard in the Marlborough wine region. Crafted by Ross and Barbara Lawson who have been grape growers since 1980, and winemakers since 1992. This winery is part of the Family of Twelve, a group of a dozen artisanal wineries, six of which are from the North Island and six from the South Island, that was founded in 2005. Look for herbal-grassy notes, tropical fruit, lime zest and fine herb flavours on this wine balanced with mouth-watering acidity. A juicy SB, briefly barrel-fermented and aged giving the wine a nice mouthfeel, finesse and a harmonious finish. Drink or hold.
