What more can we say about the Majella Cabernet?

Universally regarded as one of Coonawarra’s greatest wines, it continues to win trophies and medals throughout Australia and the world.Dark red in colour, with a very complex nose with hints of blackberries and ripe cherries. This complexity carries over to the palate, rich, juicy and ribena-like, with plums and fruitcake characters showing through.As ever the finish is long and lingering with wonderful ‘soft grain’ tannins.

Drink now or wait 10 – 15 years.

In the usual Majella manner the ferment was finished off in 300 litre French oak barrels. After MLF the wine was aged for a further 18 months in oak before bottling.
