Founded in 1941, Winery Koelenhof in Stellenbosch has been with the de Vries family since its creation. At the helm since 2006, Andrew de Vries, who is very attached to his land, is driven by making top quality wines that appeal to everyone. His award-winning, internationally recognised wines are generous and well-balanced, capturing marvellously the spirit and hospitality that define South Africa. It was therefore quite naturally that David Frost approached Andrew to make this complex, gourmet pinotage.
